Refunds
How to cancel Pro, and how to get your money back if it wasn't for you.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Where did you buy Pro?
You can buy Pro in two places: in the iPhone app through the App Store, or on pinchery.com. Cancelling and refunds work differently for each. If you're not sure which one you used, look at your receipt: App Store receipts come from Apple, web receipts come from Dodo Payments.
Bought in the iPhone app
- Cancel in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Pinchery. Do it at least 24 hours before the period ends, or it renews.
- The weekly plan can start with a 3-day free trial if Apple offers it to your Apple ID. Cancel before the trial ends and you aren't charged.
- Apple handles every App Store refund, so we can't issue one ourselves. You can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Bought on pinchery.com
- Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for web purchases. They take the payment, handle sales tax and VAT, and send your receipt. Their buyer terms apply as well as ours.
- Cancel any time from your profile in the Pinchery web app, or email us and we'll cancel it for you. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- If you haven't subscribed to Pinchery before, the weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Checkout tells you whether the trial applies before you pay.
- Changed your mind? Email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
- Forgot to cancel before a renewal? Email us within 7 days of the charge. If you haven't saved a new recipe since it renewed, we'll refund that renewal.
- We don't refund part of a period after you cancel. You just keep Pro until it ends.
- Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. Your bank can take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- Deleting your account cancels a web subscription straight away.
